Renders of the Samsung Galaxy S30 Ultra have leaked.
They show a phone with a huge camera bump and a quad-camera setup.
We recently heard a rumor that Samsung’s next set of flagships could arrive earlier than usual. It seems that also stands true for their leaks. After outing renders of the Samsung Galaxy S30 (or whatever Samsung decides to call it), tipster OnLeaks aka Steve Hemmerstoffer has also leaked renders for the Galaxy S30 Ultra.
The design of the Ultra model seems almost identical to the vanilla S30, albeit with a few differences. You’ll immediately notice that the rear camera housing is much larger. Hemmerstoffer claims that it’s almost double the size of the Galaxy S30 and contains a total of four camera sensors. Unfortunately, he doesn’t know the camera configuration but points to recent rumors that suggest the phone could feature two zoom lenses as well as wide
Samsung’s Galaxy S21 is going to arrive surprisingly soon and not only has Samsung now confirmed the new models, we now also know they will have stunning new designs.

First up is Samsung, which was good enough to confirm the Galaxy S21 for the first time after the company submitted the phone for certification through China’s public 3C certification program. The certification confirms its model number is ‘SM-G9910’, the Galaxy S20’s model number is ‘SM-G981.
Next comes the juicy part. Famed smartphone leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka @OnLeaks) has spilled the motherlode on his profile at new social network Voice. Across four separate posts, Hemmerstoffer has revealed Samsung’s new designs for the Galaxy S21, the Galaxy S21 Ultra as well as 360
If you’re not particularly fond of the big camera bumps on the Galaxy S20, its follow-up might not change your mind. OnLeaks and Pigtou (thanks to Xleaks7) have shared what they say are leak-based renders of Samsung’s Galaxy S21, or Galaxy S30, and the camera modules would be virtually inescapable on the upcoming phones. Even the standard version would have a three-camera bump that appears to spill over the edge, with the flash moved to the side to keep its look clean.
Not surprisingly, OnLeaks further claimed the Ultra variant would have an even larger array that runs right to the edge of the phone, unlike the S20 Ultra’s suddenly compact-looking design.
The external profiles don’t provide too many clues as to what the Galaxy S21 (or S30) would entail, although there are a few clues that it would be a relatively safe design beyond the bumps. The standard model

Update, October 16, 2020 (09:45 AM ET): Not long after we posted the news below, some new evidence came to light that backs it up. The folks over at SamMobile claim to have an exclusive inside source who says that Samsung could launch the Galaxy S30 series in early January 2021. While this supports the ideas listed out in the original article below, this appears to be an even earlier launch window.
Of course, nothing is confirmed yet so you should still treat this with some skepticism.
