Target

Most Target stores are open on Veterans Day. Opening hours vary depending on the branch but typically range from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week.

The retailer is offering all U.S. active-duty military personnel, veterans and their families a 10 percent discount on their total purchase in-store or online in honor of Veterans Day. Guests must confirm their eligibility at www.target.com/circle/military before their purchase.

Walmart

Most Walmart branches are open on Veterans Day but store hours may vary. Hours have also been adjusted because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Starting November 14, our store hours will be 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., unless otherwise mandated by a government agency. This will provide customers with greater options to shop for the food, medicine and supplies they need,” the company said.

“Additionally, our stores will continue to host a senior shopping hour every Tuesday for customers age 60 and older who may be more vulnerable. This will start one hour before the store opens. Our pharmacies and vision centers will also be open during this time.”

Kohl’s

Most Kohl’s stores are open on Veterans Day. Hours of operation have been reduced because of the pandemic and vary by location. Check the opening and closing times for your nearest branch at the website.

Members of the military are given a 15 percent discount every Monday, according to the company.

The “special discount is valid in store only for active military, retirees, veterans and their immediate families with proper ID. Please see a store associate for details and exclusions,” the company website said.

Macy’s

Most Macy’s stores are open on Veteran’s Day and hours typically range from 11 a.m. to 7 or 8 p.m. See the company website for the hours at your nearest branch.

Home Depot

Most Home Depot branches are open on Veterans Day but many are closing early to allow additional time for sanitizing and restocking, the company said. See the Home Depot website for more information.

On Veterans Day, all veterans are offered a 10 percent discount on in-store purchases of select items.

Lowe’s

Most Lowe’s stores are open on Veterans Day but hours may vary by location. Typical hours range from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. See the exact hours of operation for your nearest branch at the store website.

The company also offers a 10 percent discount on eligible purchases to active-duty military staff and veterans, according to the Lowe’s website.

Whole Foods
