KUALA LUMPUR: Spring Art Holdings Bhd will launch its business-to consumer (B2C) website in February next year for its ready-to-assemble (RTA) furniture products.
Its managing director Jack Lim Kok Eng said on Thursday this is the first time Spring Art is involved in B2C as it steps up its presence following the boom in online shopping.
Lim said the website “Elisa – e-commerce live in Spring Art” will be in tandem with the launch of its new brand of products for the public.
“We are targeting to achieve up to RM3mil sales from our own B2C e-commerce website by 2021.
“We believe that the new marketing B2C strategy is the business trend moving forward, ” he said in a statement, referring to the strong growth in online shopping during the Movement Control Order (MCO).
Currently, Spring Art supplies its RTA furniture products to distributors, furniture showroom retailers, home furnishing chain store and e-commerce companies from 35 countries including India, Japan, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Bahrain and the US. The company was also working with Lazada and Shopee in Malaysia.
During the lockdown in Malaysia and other countries, Spring Art saw an increase in online shopping for products including RTA furniture items, not only in Malaysia but also globally.
Spring Art’s RTA furniture items are packed in a flat pack format, easy to transport and easy to be assembled by the customers, it said.
