Sindh investment department’s website hacked

A website ( belonging to the investment department of the government of Sindh was hacked by anonymous hackers as a result of a cyber-attack on Tuesday evening.

The hackers who appear to be students also posted a message on the website which said, “Students’ lives are not a joke, shut the schools down now, Students are the real assets of a country, don’t destroy your assets”.

The demand came hours after the provincial government decided against shutting down schools despite an alarming rise in Covid-19 cases in the province.


Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani earlier in the day had ruled out the possibility of an early winter vacations this year owing to virus upsurge.
