Game to release PS5 stock on its website through online ‘Easter Egg’ hunt starting next week

GAME is launching an online “Easter Egg hunt” where eagle-eyed winners can bag themselves a sold-out PlayStation 5.

Starting next week, the Brit retailer will release clues on its website that lead gamers to one of more than 100 PlayStation prizes.

Huntsville students out all week after computer system attack

Huntsville school students will not return to campuses for the rest of this week as the school system responds to a computer ransomware attack, the system said today.

Principals, assistant principals, and some operations staff will return Wednesday, and teachers and other employees will return Thursday “to prepare materials for students,” the system said on its website. Curbside meals will be available at some locations Wednesday.

The school system said it is working with local and federal authorities on what is “an active investigation.” An FBI spokesman confirmed Tuesday that the bureau is “involved and working on the case.” No further details were released.

Programming survey in final week | State & Region

Fayette County Parks and Recreation is peering ahead to a post-Covid-19 future. 

Through Nov. 30, the board is accepting responses for a survey related to planning and management for the future of the Fayette County Park in Beckwith and the Fayette County Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Building in Fayetteville.

“We think it’s important to hear from the community, their thoughts about programming for both places,” said Renee Harper, park director.

The survey asks people to share memories they have of both facilities.

“The park and the memorial building are very nice assets that the county owns,” said Harper. “Some Fayette County residents feel a real connection, whether it be the park or the memorial building. We certainly feel it’s important to hear from the community going forward, ideas they have.
